Deacons Business Meeting - Saturday, February 22, 2025
The semi-annual Deacons Business Meeting, will take place on Saturday, February 22. This will be a hybrid meeting, allowing participants to join either in person here at the Chancery Building or virtually via Zoom.
The meeting will begin promtly at 9:30 AM and will conclude not later than 11:30 AM. The Zoom room will open at 9:15 AM for those jointly remotely.
Please expect an email from the Office of the Diaconate for the Zoom link.

Hybrid Continuing Education Sessions for Permanent Deacons
Chrism Mass Gathering for Deacons and Wives, Thursday, April 10, 2025
We are exited to gather again for the Diocesan Chrism Mass! Deacons and their wives are invited to join us at the Pastoral Center in the Bishop Federal Hall from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
The event will begin with a training presentation by Deacon Armando Solorzano at 3:15 PM, followed by dinner at 5:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity for spiritual enrichment and fellowship before the Chrism Mass.
Please note: Due to space limitations we can only accomodate up to 50 attendees (i.e, couples 25). We kindly ask you that you RSVP by March 21, to Mrs. Mirna Gomez at mirna.gomez@dioslc.org

National Association of Deacon Directors Convention, Tuesday, April 29, 2025
Deacons are invited to join us for Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeleine at 4:00 PM, celebrated by Bishop Solis. This will be followed by dinner and presentation. By Rev. J.T. Lane on the Topic: Eucharist Outside of Mass.
